As you know by now, Barbarella aka Independent Bar is vacating their long-running premises located on Orange Avenue at Washington Street. They are relocating to out of downtown Orlando and their final night here will be on Saturday, April 2nd. What you might not know is that this current location is going to become a Country music bar! Yes, several independent sources have confirmed to Orlando Entertainment News that the landlord here will renovate the space and directly connect it to The Patio which is behind it. The Patio, of course, is already directly connected to Aero Bar upstairs as well as the adjacent 64 North and The Social which in turn is directly connected to The Beacham. We don’t believe any of the music formats at those connected venues are changing, just at the Barbarella spot which will take on a new name. And it will be a country music club!I guess there were hints at the coming change. You’ll recall our previous article last year LINK HERE about this famous Barbarella VIP bench seat being reupholstered. The reupholstered seat screamed Country music! But we had no idea.
