So many clubs, so little time! Friday night in the “City Beautiful” and beginning our rounds at The Vanguard.And whom did we spot in the VIP line going inside but Shannon & Madeline.And once inside, the booming of Trance filled one’s ears!From DJ Suzy Solar (USA).Of course the opener gets an empty room to start off with…..But it didn’t take very long to see the dance floor get some occupancy!Suzy’s set included a lot of Vocal Trance including Old Skool favorite “Rapture”.Whether you remember it as “Firestone“, “Firestone Live” or “Venue 578“, this newly renovated club has long been the home to great electronic music!Suzy’s 90-minute set ended all too soon and DJ Luccio (USA) took over next. Both Suzy Solar and Luccio are on the roster for Electric Daisy Carnival – Orlando in November. Advance tickets here.Luccio’s set was all non-vocal Trance during my visit. As the dance floor continued to fill. DJ Maor Levi (IL) and headliner DJ Ilan Bluestone (GB) would be next but I needed to be moving on!It’s been awhile since we dropped in on Shots Orlando.Coming in the door and walked into this!No wonder; DJ Chino (USA) in the booth.Of course the music at Shots is Hip Hop even though I told him I was there for his House set, lol.Announcing those drink specials!DJ Chino is a resident DJ at The Groove in Universal CityWalk, a venue we’re still waiting on to reopen! Hopefully soon.He had the Shots dance floor wall-to-wall last night.Barbarella on Friday nights means Discothèque.DJ Brian Busto (USA) was in the booth when we arrived for this special 1-yr anniversary show.House music all night long!View from VIP.DJ had the floor bouncing!The leader of Tampa’s “Serious Soul” label, we hadn’t seen Brian Busto do an Orlando show since 2018 at Iron Cow. LINKDJ Three plays at the outdoor Piknic Electronik this evening in Montreal. It’s an event we got to cover a few years ago and it’s a truly amazing experience.
