Ace Is The Place!

In Orlando clubbing history, one venue that always gets mentioned is The Edge. So it was with great excitement several years back when Ace Cafe took over the then-derelict building to renovate it and open a restaurant/nightclub complex. Of course, Ace Cafe was impacted too by last year’s covid19 closures and gradual reopenings. And the place has subsequently exploded as a niche concert venue!
In August we saw what was likely the very first post-reopening DJ concert in Orlando, presented by Best of Breaks Promotions. On a hot and humid day and night, Ace hosted the “Tail Break Rave” event featuring DJ Magic Mike (USA). It took place in the Ace parking lot.
In October, “Outdoor Distanced” by Vizion 1 Entertainment took place on the now-famous Ace Cafe lawn and headlined DJ Boris (RUS/USA). The setting under the Orlando skyline was amazing. Since then, numerous events have taken place both inside or outside of Ace. So let’s take a look at some of what’s coming!
This Saturday, May 22nd, Ace Cafe will be home to the annual “Gemini Party” which this year is dedicated to the late DJ Chronic (USA). The lineup is a who’s who of Orlando area Breaks scene talent. No advance tickets for this event; it will be just $10 at the door.
One week later, on Saturday, May 29th, Ace Cafe delivers more Breaks plus a whole lot of DnB with this international lineup that includes Stanton Warriors (GB), LTJ Bukem (GB), Deekline (GB) and AK1200 (USA). Advance tickets here.
On Saturday, July 3rd, famed duo Rabbit In The Moon (USA) make a rare Orlando appearance at Ace Cafe. If you’ve never seen them in concert, it’s a life-changing experience! Advance tickets here.
Last one we want to mention (for now) is the “BreaksNBass” event on Saturday, August 7th. The only thing you really need to know is that Blog-favorite club dancer Kriss Reign (USA) will be there!
